Prices are expensive. However, it's worth it. One of my favorite places to get gyro from. The meat isn't dry and never disappoints.

Pick up a gyro to eat in the car at dinner, big mistake. This place makes a serious gyro and it was way to much to be eaten without a table and plenty of napkins. If I were able to finish it I would have needed a nap. This place will give you your $$ worth of delicious food. Enjoy

With there not being many places in the area that offer this cuisine, this places meets the craving for a Chicken Gyro. Everything made fresh to order, I watched him slice the chicken off the rotator, ample amount, and place it on the grill along with heating up the pita. I was able to select the toppings I wanted and those were an ample amount as well. I had simple sides of chips and water, but trust me, the loaded fries will be in my future. Chicken, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Feta and Tzaziki were my toppings of choice. Everything tasted great, no need to add any salt or pepper. Overjoyed at the meal!

Ok, since my last review, STL Gyros has improved their quality and it has remained consistent since my first time here. It has been my favorite gyro spot in STL for some time. But today was my first time back since I've moved 5 yrs ago, and while the food is still above average, it honestly doesn't seem like they've done any real cleaning over the last several years. Just coming in, the floors were disturbingly sticky making a twack noise anytime I lifted my feet. Nothing looked like it had been seriously wiped down in a minute, and the bathroom just looked real rough. I even hesitated using the available high chair. Not an issue if you take to go, but please please please do a deep clean of the space.

Love this place. Favorite is definitely the bowl, can ask them to load up on the veggies and rice while not breaking the bank. They cut the beef off a big shank and cook it on a grill (not normal for a gyro place but all good), then load it up into a giant bowl full of rice, fresh veggies, sauces, and whatever else you want. My go to when I'm looking for a big meal post workout.

Hands down, this is the best gyro in St. Louis! I absolutely love the beef/lamb gyro here! The meat is shaved fresh from the spit upon ordering. The meat and the pita are freshly grilled up. I like that they offer the choice between a regular pita and a whole wheat pita. I prefer whole wheat for the extra health benefits. The meat is really tender, juicy, and flavorful. Their tzatziki sauce here is top notch! So fresh, flavorful, and addicting. I always get 2 scoops of sauce - can't get enough. It is nice that they allow you to choose unlimited fresh veggie toppings as well. Both the Creve Coeur and Manchester locations are equally good. It isn't a glamorous place if you want to eat in, but as long as the food is stellar...that is all that matters!
